Crispy Rice Gingerbread Men and Hoisin Scallops

INGREDIENTS:

DIRECTIONS:

To make the crispy rice Gingerbread men:

  1. Heat Ty Ling fried rice according to package directions.
  2. Press tightly into a gingerbread man cookie cutter.
  3. Once rice is compact and sticks together, gently remove from the cookie cutter.
  4. Repeat until all rice is gone (makes about 8). 
  5. Bake at 300°F for 10-15 min until crispy to the touch.

To make the Hoisin Scallops:

  1. In a pan over medium heat, add scallops and season with salt and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add Ty Ling Hoisin sauce and coat scallops with sauce.
  3. Cook until the sauce has reduced and sticks to the scallops.
  4. Serve with crispy rice gingerbread men and enjoy! 

To make the Hoisin Hearts of Palm:

  1. Drain 1 can of Reese Sliced Hearts of Palm. 
  2. In a pan over medium heat, add Hearts of Palm and season with salt and pepper. Cook until tender.
  3. Add Hoisin sauce and coat hearts of palm with sauce.
  4. Cook until the sauce has reduced and sticks to the hearts of palm.
  5. Serve alongside scallops and crispy rice gingerbread men as a vegan option!
