Cook large pearl tapioca according to package directions then drain and cool. Next, add green maraschino cherry syrup to the cooked tapioca, and allow to soak for a minimum of 30 minutes.
In another glass, mix together sifted matcha powder and water.
To make the green boba tea, add the green sugar boba pearls to the bottom of the glass, followed by the sesame milk, then topped with the matcha. Serve with a wide straw.
