High Protein Simmered Shrimps

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 Oz onion, sliced
  • 5 Oz green cabbage, cut into medium pieces
  • ¼ Cup dashi stock or chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp mirin
  • 1tbsp soy sauce
  • 100g Egg whites
  • 6oz Wild Argentine Red Shrimp
  • 1 Tsp Ty Ling Hot Oil
  • Ty Ling Five Spice Seasoning to taste
  • Green onions to garnish

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Add onions and cabbage to a pan and cover with broth.
  2. Stir in mirin and soy sauce. Cover with a lid and bring to a boil.
  3. Uncover and add shrimp to the pan. You can use precooked shrimp or raw shrimp—just cook raw shrimp longer.
  4. Add egg whites and cook, covered, for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Serve with green onions, Ty Ling Five Spice Seasoning, and Hot Oil.
