Holiday Bento Box
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup sticky rice (prepared and cooled)
1 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
1/4 cup red tomatoes
3 olives
1 carrot
5 baby corn
Googley eyes (if desired)
Handful of peas
Red round sprinkles
Star-shaped cookie cutter
Ty Ling Duck Sauce, Oyster Sauce, and Sesame Oil for dipping
DIRECTIONS:
Prepare the sushi rice and allow it to cool so you can shape it.
Roll the rice into 5 balls (one medium and one small sized for the snowman).
Stack the 3 balls (large, medium, small) and add two googley eyes, a carrot nose, and cut the red bell pepper to make a scarf for the snowman.
To make the reindeer, use the other medium ball of sticky rice, put one olive with a red sprinkle in the center, two googley eyes, and cut the carrot into antler shapes to attach at the top of the head.
To make the Santa head, use one large rice ball, with a red sprinkle nose, two googley eyes, and cut the remaining red pepper into a triangle for the hat.
Cut the red bell pepper into candy canes (J shape) and make mistletoe with the red and green bell peppers.
You can also cut the bell peppers into star shapes using the cookie cutter.
Pour the 3 Tyling dipping sauces (Duck Sauce, Oyster Sauce, and Sesame Oil) into small dipping ramekins for dipping and enjoy!
