Korean Rice Balls

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 cups cooked sushi rice
  • 5oz can tuna
  • 1 1/2 tsp Japanese mayo
  • 1 tsp Ty Ling Five Spice Seasoning 
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup seaweed seasoning
  • Ty Ling General Tso sauce
  • Ty Ling Sweet and Sour Sauce
  • Ty Ling Hot Oil

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a bowl, mix together the tuna, mayo, Ty Ling Five Spice Seasoning , salt and pepper to make the filling. 
  2. Take 2 tbs of rice and gently flatten it against your hand. Add 1 tbs of the filling to the center and top it with a bit of rice. 
  3. Gently but firmly shape the rice into a ball while encasing the filling. This process can be made easier by wetting your hands or gloves with water between each ball
  4. Roll each of the balls in the seaweed seasoning. 
  5. Serve with Ty Ling General Tso sauce, Sweet and Sour Sauce or Hot Oil.
