Spooky Sesame Noodles & Mozzarella Eyeballs

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 packet (10 ounces) Ty Ling Chinese Noodles
  • 1 jar (10 oucnes) Ty Ling Sweet & Sour Sauce
  • 3 Tablespoons Ty Ling Pure Sesame Oil
  • 8 ounces White Whole Mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup Calabrian Chili Pepper Paste
  • 8 oz Fresh Mozzarella Ciliegine
  • 4 ounces Black Olives, sliced
  • 2 Green Onions, thinly sliced
  • Sesame Seeds, for garnish

DIRECTIONS:

  1. To make the mozzarella eye balls, use a straw to poke a hole in the enter then place a black olive slice into the hole.
  2.  To make mushroom skull heads, slice white button mushrooms in half, use a straw to poke holes for eyes, and cut small slits for the nose and teeth. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1/4 cup of water and 1 TyLing Pure Sesame Oil. Place the haled mushrooms into the skillet, cover and cook for 4 minutes then remove the lid and allow the water to evaporate. Seasoned with a bit of salt and set aside.
  3. Bring a large pot of water to a boil then add the TyLing Chinese Noodles and boil for 3 minutes.
  4. Next, drain the water and pour TyLing Sweet & Sour Sauce over the noodles. Using tongs, toss the noodles so they are coasted evenly in the sauce.
  5. To the noodles, add calabrian chili pepper paste, salt to taste and 2 Tablespoons TyLing Pure Sesame Oil. Toss to coat evenly.
  6. Plate the noodles and top with the mushroom skull heads and mozzarella eyeballs. Lastly, garnish with the thinly sliced green onion and sesame seeds.
