Sweet and Sour Fish with Fried Rice

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 kg fish, cleaned and scaled
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon Ty Ling Sesame Oil
  • 1 tablespoon shredded fresh ginger
  • 3 spring onions, sliced
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced
  • 1 red capsicum, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Ty Ling Sweet and Sour sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Ty Ling Oyster Style Sauce
  • Ty Ling Fried Rice

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Score the fish flesh, cutting 3-4 diagonal slits through to the bone on both sides.
  2. Season with salt rubbing the salt into the cuts.
  3. Drizzle 1 teaspoon of the TyLing Sesame Oil on the grill and cook under a preheated grill 4 minutes each side. Meanwhile heat a wok, add the remaining 1 teaspoon Ty Ling Sesame Oil, add ginger, chili and vegetables tossing well over high heat for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add Ty Ling Sweet and Sour sauce and Ty Ling Oyster Style Sauce and bring to the boil.
  5. Now prepare the Ty Ling Fried Rice according to the package directions, then place on a big plate. 
  6. Place fish on the fried rice and spoon sauce and vegetables over the top.
