Sweet and Spicy Asian Ribs

INGREDIENTS:

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Using a paper towel, pat the rack of spare ribs dry then season both sides of the spare ribs with Ty Ling Five Spice Seasoning, about 2 tbsp per side.
  2. Use your smoker at 225°F for 6 hours or oven at 275°F for 3 1/2 hours to cook the spare ribs. When using the oven, place the spare ribs on an aluminum lined baking sheet.
  3. While the spare ribs are cooking, make the glaze by combining Ty Ling Hoisin Sauce and Ty Ling Hot Oil.
  4. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, slather the spare ribs with hoisin and hot oil glaze.
  5. Once the spare ribs are fully cooked through (internal temperature should be at 200-202°F), allow them to rest on the cutting board for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
  6. Garnish the sliced sweet and spicy ribs with thinly sliced scallion and toasted sesame seeds. Serve with rice and cucumber salad if desired as well as Ty Ling Hot Oil and Ty Ling Hoisin Sauce for dipping.
