Tofu Nuggets

INGREDIENTS:

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Press the block of tofu to remove the excess water.
  2. Add tofu, cashews, panko, salt, and pepper to a food processor.
  3. Blend until smooth and transfer the batter to a bowl.
  4. Take a scoop of batter and roll it into a ball. 
  5. Form each ball into a nugget shape and dredge each one in flour. Set aside. 
  6. Add a drizzle of Ty Ling Sesame Oil to a skillet for flavor and add about 1 cup of vegetable oil to supplement.
  7. Heat oil to 350 degrees or until oil is shimmering on medium/high heat.
  8. Fry nuggets for a few minutes on each side until golden brown
  9. Remove nuggets from oil and put on a mesh rack to cool. 
  10. Prepare Ty Ling Garlic and Ginger Vegetable Fried Rice by following the package instructions
  11. Enjoy with Ty Ling Duck Sauce
