Veggie Skewers

INGREDIENTS:

Veggies
  • Big handful of baby bella mushrooms
  • ½ red onion
  • 1 mango
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 zucchini
For Serving
  • Ty Ling Duck Sauce
  • Ty Ling Hot Mustard
  • Ty Ling Hoisin Sauce

DIRECTIONS:

  1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling so they do not burn.
  2. Preheat your grill or grill pan.
  3. Chop the veggies and mango so they are somewhat uniform in size, then thread them onto the skewers.
  4. Grill for a few minutes on each side, until the mushrooms are cooked through and a nice char has formed on the edges of the veggies, about 10–12 minutes total depending on the size of your veggies and the heat of your grill.
  5. Remove from heat and serve warm with Ty Ling Duck Sauce, Ty Ling Hot Mustard, and Ty Ling Hoisin Sauce on the side for dipping.
  6. The duck sauce adds a sweet, fruity flavor, the hot mustard brings heat, and the hoisin sauce adds a rich, savory-sweet finish.
